It has been a month and a half now since it was fitted. the first 3 weeks were very painful and I really thought I coudn't continue. I bled that whole time, not heavily bit there was always something there. To top it off London has had the hottest month ever and it was so uncomfortable. But now I feel great! I don't want to be too optomistic as us endo sufferers soon learn optimism doesn't fades pretty quickly. But I had my period this week and it was practically non existent, no tampons or towels needed. As for the pain I had an hour on Saturday and that was it. I'm really hoping this will continue. So for now my opinion on the Mirena is very good. But will keep you posted as time goes on. Take care all xx PS I read in a local paper in London that scientists are nearer to a cure for endo if I can find a web link I will post it on here for all to read.
