Hello ladies, first I want to say how much I appreciate all of you and this forum, it is so nice to see that I'm not alone and to hear how all of you deal with this disease. I just came back from the Dr and I need another ultrasound tomorrow in order to determine if I need more surgery. I've had 3 surgeries in the last 2 years and am not really looking forward to more. He wants to wait for the ultrasound results first, and may suggest a round of Lupron instead of surgery. I have really not wanted to go on Lupron since I've heard (and read here) of the tremendous side-effects..but now I'm beginning to think it's the only option that I have not yet tried. I have started getting pains that seem to begin in my lower abdomen and extend into my thighs and hips...and just in the past 2 weeks I've gained 5 pounds which is very unusual for me. My breasts are sore and a bit swollen. I am wondering if any of these symptoms (on top of my usual abdominal pain)are being caused or worsened by the Levlite continuous birth control pill that I started in April? I could use any advice/words of wisdom that you all can offer about Lupron and about my symptoms in general. Thank you all so much. Barbara
