Re: Time from notifying dr of your symptoms to having a lap done/suggested??

It took 3 years after complaining to my doctor about period pains. Eventually I demanded to see a gynae and because of a misdiagnosis, thinking I had a cyst, it was another 6 months before my lap. Before my 2nd lap I waited 6 months (their advice to see if the pain had stopped) but when I did go in I had the lap done within 2 weeks.
