Holly,

Are you scheduled to be on a 6-month course of Lupron? If so, what I have read from the experts is that they recommend 3 months of Lupron with no add-back therapy and then after the 3rd month, once everything is quieted down, to introduce addback into the mix. Adding it in at this point will only increase your pain due to the hormones you are taking. If you stop taking them, the pain should decrease.

You should call your doctor to discuss this. I have been on and off for the past 10 years with and without add-back therapy. I recently started add-back again and the pain increased tremendously.

Good luck. Hope this is helpful.
