Hi Holly,

What a coincidence! I'm grouchy and doped up right now too! ;) Hang in there girl. I can't shed any light on the cycling issue, as I haven't cycled in many years due to continuous birth control and then a hysterectomy two years ago.

I just wanted to chime in here and let you know that having a hysterectomy may not answer your prayers, if that's what you're looking for. The more surgeries you have usually end up causing more damage, as in my own case. I've had another surgery since my hyst and am back to that awful pain that drops me to my knees and makes me think I have more surgery ahead in my near future. I'm just so confused at this point because I don't know if all this surgery is worth it or not.

Anyway, this is not about me, it's about you! :) Really consider the hyst's pros and cons before surgery. I'm sure most doctors would do the surgery on you, whether it's a mild or severe case. They seem to jump at the chance sometimes. Just make sure you're done having your children and ready for the effects of menopause. It really is something to get used to!

Take care and I hope you feel better and the next one is easier!
