Re: Could this be endometriosis??

Hi Anonymous,

I was diagnosed with endo when I was 34, because I was trying to get pregnant and couldn't. I'd had some mid cycle spotting, and some tenderness on my right side, but that was it... plus always back pain during my period. The only way to diagnose endo is through lap surgery. Doctors can only speculate until then by your symptoms and of course ultrasounds, ct scans, etc... Maybe you should talk to your doctor about going on the pill until you are ready to have kids? I really wish I would have done that, maybe I could have preserved my ovaries instead of developing endo so bad that it hindered my fertility. It's good that you are being proactive! Do whatever you need to do to preserve fertility until you are ready. You'll have a better chance that way! Best of luck, and please, let us know what happens. Linda
