Hi Sherry,

Sorry that you're in so much pain. I suffer from both endo and adenomyosis. When I have pain and particular when I have a trans vaginal scan the pain is always at the lower left of my abdomen and shoots down my thigh. I had endo on my bowels, bladder fallopian tubes and ovaries. It was very deep on my cervix this resulting in that pain down my thigh. Please be certain that it isn't endo do not write it totally off as your symptoms sound very similar to mine. The deep cervix endo wasn't found until my 2nd lap. Adenomyosis doesn't have the same side effects as endo ie infetility but it is painful especially during sex. I had a coil fitted to aid to try and stop this pain, it doesn't work for all women and it's still early days for me to say whether it's worked on me. But with adenomyosis unforunately only a hysterectomy can totally stop the pain. Also my biggest advice to detect endo is the laporoscopy and make sure they really look around. I had blood tests, tv scans and instead of detecting endo they thought I had a cyst I had a laporotomy only for them to discover they were wrong. The best way to determine endo is the laporoscopy they need to get in and have a look at your organs. So if you havent had that done then ask for it. You know your body better than anyone, so listen to it and if it isn't right for you then push them until they get to the bottom of it. Alot of doctors will just look over it and put it down to many other things first. Also you can detect adenomyosis without removing the uterus. During my 2nd lap they went into my uterus with a camera and found the adenomyosis and photographed it for me to see. It is very red and raw and look slike how it feels bloody awful!! Shout loudly and make sure they do everything for you that is possible. take care xx
