Re: How many here suffer endo after age 50? How old are you? poll

I am 35, I seem to be the only one who has had this in my family, that I know of anyway. I have a good friend who had a hysterectomy at 34 and is still in lots of pain. In addition she awoke from the surgery with a dislocated hip! Oh, and her Dr had not told her that she may get a hysterectomy, so she had no mental preparation for it which really upset her. I encouraged her to go to another DR but she is not willing yet (it has been 6 years), she really is in denial that it is still the endo that might be hurting her...so I don't know if it is endo or scarring that is causing her pain.
