I am ready to try something newFor more information on symptoms and treatment of endometriosis visit www.EndometriosisZONE.org. From: Michelle (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Jun 27 08:57:32 2006
Good morning ladies, I have read numerous posts in the pasts on a variety of different ways to cope with endo. I never really paid to much attention to them because I guess I was convinced I only needed another lap and then I would feel better again. I had another laparoscopy last week. The doctor removed what he could but said it was very difficult because I am overweight. He told me it would take several months before I would know whether or not the surgery was successful as far as pain goes. I don't remember it taking that long last time. Most of my pain is on my left side, but the tiny incisions were made on my right side. I found this discouraging because I keep thinking he didn't get the side with the pain (I don't even know if that is a valid assumption or not). All to say, I am panicked. I cannot and will not continue to live like I have been. I am a teacher and want to do whatever it takes to getting better over the summer holidays. What books should I read? What vitamines should I take? What food should I eat? Should I try Lupron or something else? What excercises should I do? Where the heck do I start? Is there such a book as "Healing Endometriosis For Dummies"? Michelle
