Dearest Melissa
I am so sorry you feel so rotten, doesn't it always feel like if it isn't one
thing, it is another. I hope you start to feel much better soon, and holy cow,
you really got hit with enough this time!
I have had pneumonia before, and let me tell you, it was NO FUN!
You feel SO awful, and have zero amount of energy, all I wanted to do was sleep,
and when I slept, I still didn't feel rested at all.
My WHOLE body took turns hurting like a had run a few marathons, back to back.
The pain in your lung is exactly what pneumonia feels like, the pain is terrible,
and yes, it isn't just when you breath, it is all the time.
The lung pain I am feeling now is a lot like that, only pneumonia can be
easily seen on an Xray, mine cannot, so it isn't that, but I was sure,in the
 beginning, that it was.

I can't say I know first hand what mono feels like, but many years ago a young man that roomed in my house had it, he was very ill for weeks. To have them both combined, I would say you would and should feel like absolute C***! I just can't imagine how much you must hurt all over. I wouldn't say that most of the pain is from the endo, I think that just having the two at once is enough to pin all that body pain on, when you add to that your normal endo stuff, it could only serve to make matters worse. You poor dear, I hope you really take care of yourself and let others help you and take care of you. Don't push yourself, let your immune system and the meds the Dr gave you take over and let it heal you. Get PLENTY of sleep/rest, give your body only the healthiest of food,( don't starve yourself if you don't feel like eating , just nibble on things thru the day), have LOTS to drink to make sure you do not get dehydrated as then you will really be in a state, and get some fresh air in your lungs as you can. I really feel for you and will send you much positive thoughts and prayers. I hope you will feel much better soon. All the best to you, Loretta.
