I did discover that this cyst is filled with blood a"chocolate cyst" as you had mentioned. Since all of this has been happening I have been frantically searching for all the info I can find to learn more about it. I have only found several people online who have said that they developed painful cysts after having the IUD inserted. Even though doctors say that Mirena cannot cause cysts I am beginning to believe that is far from the truth. If I were you I would have it removed if the cysts keep developing. I'm not sure what other symptoms you have, but just as you said I have been in tons of pain. I have missed 2 days of work already and am doped up on vicodin constanly which really doesn't even help it just numbs it temporarily. I have also been very nauseus and weak and have experianced body aches. I hope this reply helps you out on your search for answers. I know yours help
