Brenda, I would call and ask to be seen prior to your surgery. It is not an unreasonable request. Mention the bleeding problems and that you have some questions and concerns you need to go over with the doctor prior to your proceedure. Also tell them you have not received any information regarding the registration. It is their job to answer your questions and it is your right to ask them. Be firm. You need to be absolutely sure you understand exactly what the doctor plans to do and that you agree with what his planned course of action is prior to even getting to the hospital. I really think that would also go a long way to calm your nerves regarding the surgery. Alyson
