Brenda, Your doctor should schedule you for an appointment in the office prior to your surgery that is considered your pre-op appointment. They use that time to go over the proceedure, answer any questions, sign forms and fill out paper work. If your doctor didn't schedule one for you, I would call the office and let them know you have some questions and concerns you would like addressed prior to your surgery. Alyson
