Well,as a nursing student and someone who is intereseted in womens
health. I have done lots of research on endo and other female disease.
However, what you described to me sounds like an ectopic pregnancy. I
know that the pt didnt show postive but if it is still early, like for
instance if you got pregnant at the end of you ovulation cycle your
hormone levels might not be high enough to show pregnancy. THe horrific
pain you described sounds like what I have seen in patients with ectopic
pregnancies. The only thing is that you arent having any vaginal
bleeding. If it were an ectopic that ruptured you would have
experienced vaginal bleeding along with the pain. If I were you I would
go to my GYN and have an ultrasound just to make sure everything is
okay. I am not saying that it is definitaly that, I am not a MD, I just
recognized what you were experiencing based on what I have seen and
read. I hope everything turns out alright.
