Infertility... what would you do?

Hi! I'm new here, but I definitely need to visit more often. I have been dealing with endometriosis since I started menstruating at 13. I was diagnosed about four years ago when I had my first laparoscopy after dealing with infertility. A year and a half and two more laps later I became pg with my son (on IUI #3) who will be two in August. I've been ttc #2 and recently found out that I have three small endometriomas on my ovaries. So obviously the endo is returning (I was fairly clear of endo at my third lap and have been pain free since having my son). My question is... even though none of the endometriomas are large enough for my doctor to warrant surgery (all around 1 cm), I wonder what you would do. I have three paid IUIs remaining through my insurance company. I would really like to make the most of them. But I'm not having any pain and hesitate to undergo unneccesary surgery. So, having dealt with endo and being removed from my situation, what do you think? Is my doctor a quack and he should be recommending a lap before any infertility treatments? Or is he dead on and I shouldn't do a lap until the endo gets obviously worse?

Thanks in advance for your opinions!
