Re: Lupron Shot- to Sharon

Hello Sharon. I've had 2 laparoscopies and have only been on Lupron since April. I wanted to let you know I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. When I went for the shot, I was soooo nervous and made myself sick to my stomach as I waited for the nurse!!!

I'm very grateful that I tried Lupron. My daily pain has decreased and my energy is beginning to return. Taking Lupron is a risk and it's a huge decision to make, but I hope it helps you. Remember that it's imperative to take a daily multi-vitamin with extra Calcium Citrate D and Magnesium. You are very lucky to have a doctor in your family, for I'm sure that it is a comfort to you by knowing whom to turn to!

So far, hot flashes are my biggest side effect. I just keep researching and try to maintain a positive attitude. I just graduated college while on Lupron! My graduation was a year later than I anticipated, thanks to Endo, but I did it. I know Endo is unknown and quite scary, but keep going after your dreams and goals!

Good luck and please keep me posted on how you are feeling.

Take Care,
