When I was on a similar GnRH agonist several years ago, I took it for six months. Even after I stopped, it suppressed my period and kept me pain free for almost another full six months. Formost people, periods resume within a few weeks to months, so it could be anytime, or it oculd be awhile for you. Good luck!
