I am scheduled for a laporoscopy on the 9th. I am concerned because I have 2 children who I need to take care of. This is not my first time having to have surgery for endo.I had a laporotomy in 2001 in which my dr said it was the worst he had ever seen. I also took lupron in 2002 for 6 months. I had my second daughter in 2004 which was a miny miracle because it was completely natural no drugs or help from the drs. It was a complete surprise and everything was fine until 6 months ago when the endo came back with a vengence. I hope the dr can fix the problem with an open laporscopy but I am worried that she will have to go back in later and do a laporotomy because that is what happened the first time. My husband is the the USCG so we dont really have family here to help with the girls while I am recovering. The dr says ill be fine in a few days so I am keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly and this is all we need to do. I am trying to avoid lupron because it makes me really moody and I have horrible hot flashes and all the other side effects it even gave me migraines.
