Re: surgery is over, i'm homeFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netTue May 30 00:08:49 2006
Hi Theresa, I don't know you but I feel like I have to post a congrats reply...you're a real trooper for going through all that. And please don't be scared, if there was anything cancerous there they would probably know it immediately. No use in stressing yourself that much over something that has not been confirmed...you'll just tear out your nerves to pieces and get depressed over it. Wait for a reasonable explanation before stressing, and even then, God forbid, stay STRONG! My mom has had a lot of health issues during her life (none with endo thank God) and every time she would go for tests she would later cry herself into a stupor over the results she didn't know yet. Every time it was the same...Oh my Gawd I have cancer, I have this, I have that....yet she never really had cancer or anything life threatening...but the stress she brought upon herself (and me!) during those waiting times was unreasonable and absolutely destroyed her for the time being. This is why I'm suggesting you stay strong, and don't sweat something unless they show it to you in black and white. Best of luck to you friend, stay strong! Inny.
