Hi, there! I wish for each and every one of you a pain free day!
What has worked for me?
Lots of things!
Prayer, mediation on healing, positive thinking.
Hanging, talking and letting my pets walk and look after me.(they are great supporters)
A great human support team, including; a thoughtful Dr, a great shrink when I need
him for coping with chronic pain issues, a wonderful naturopathic counselor,
a ever so wise spiritual adviser, a best friend to lean on, my pain management specialist,
a huge change in my diet to mostly organic foods, LOADS of BERRY"S! LOADS of greens,
fresh juiced fruits and veggies,(beet and pomigranet juices). VERY GOOD for you!
LOTS of vitamins, large doses of C (estherC with bioflavonoids)! Vitamins E, D, A, Folic acid,
colostrum, Calcium and magnesium. Aloe vera juice.(great for bowel/intestine and inflammation.
I do not drink alcohol and I have quit smoking. YEAH!
FRESH GARLIC AND GINGER Everyday!(antibiotic, antibacterial, antiinflammitory, kills parasites)
Some I take all the time, others I take for awhile then lay off for awhile.
I cured my depression by taking these, and I believe what made the biggest
difference was the addition of essential fatty acid's.
I take a 3-6-9 combination, but as well I take a couple times a week,
wild salmon, flax oil, borage oil, I only use Olive oil (cold-pressed extra virgin),
and a high complex B's!, I SWEAR the severe depression I had so bad left me.
With in a month, I saw a marked difference in my moods, in the next month I felt
like a new person! I can't say enough!
Like I said, I took it all faithfully for awhile and got my stores of it back up in my body,
now I take a few every day or every other day, and the rest on and off.
It all has made me feel so much better! By using my Dr's and pain meds, and
adding all the rest, including now learning of Ayurveda medicine to hopeful
replace much of it,I have gotten on top of part of my pain
(enough most days to cope), and the rest makes me as healthy as I can be to
come at this with the rest of my body , mind and SPIRIT as sound as it can be.
I think I have the best chance now of living with this disease the best I know
how!
I keep trying to learn all I can and adjust my thinking and treatments as
I go. And I try not to dwell in my own self pity.
It is the best I have found ,that I can do for myself.
I hope all you do works well for each of you too!
