Re: Breast milk returned 5 months after weening? Cause?From: JoCee27 (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Apr 27 20:41:09 2006
Hi Jennifer. I breastfed all 3 of my kids and like you I noticed something odd about the last time. With my first son, he was born premature and we tried really hard to get him to breastfeed and he wouldn't. I had to pump the milk out and have it fed to him by bottle. That lasted about 4 months. My second child breastfed for 6 months. After that, my milk dried completely up in 2 months. After I had my daughter, she breastfed for 6 months, it took me almost a year to finally get it dried up. I wouldn't even know I'd leaked until I went to take my bra off and it would be stuck to me. My daughter is 4 1/2 years old now and if I press against my breast just a little bit a drop will still come to the surface. My Endo really went into full throttle after her birth and my only guess is that that has something to do with it. I am supposed to see a new doctor in 3 weeks and I plan to ask him about it. If I find out something before you do, I'll let you know. If you find something out before me, will you clue me in? Thanks!
