My symptoms started as bad period pains and excrusiating pain while going pee during the first couple of days of my periods. I would call your gyn and request all your records and find someone else, I am sure many of us here will tell you the same thing. If you do not want to change then I would tell them you want your yearly exame now. It is hard to find a good doctor but when you find one it is well worth it. I have a good doctor but he is not good for the endo issues so I am currantly sending my records out to several doctors for their oppinions. I can't comment on the birth control issue as I can't take it, I had blood clots after my son was born so now I am a blood clot risk and can't take any hormones. I hope you find answers HUGS Rhonda
