I am getting ready to try acupuncture next week, so it will be interesting to find out. I tried it a few years ago, but it didn't help. My understanding is that there are a lot of "quacks" in acupuncture so it may take time to find the right person. I do remember getting that sick feeling after massages, which is basically detoxing you depending on how they do the massage. It sounds reasonable if you ask me.
