Re: Lupron- Should I take it? Please Help!

For me, Lupron was an excellent decision. My side affects have been hot flashes and about 8 pounds of weight gain which will drop when I'm off the treatment.

I have been PAIN FREE for months now and it is amazing. My doctor tells me (and so have other women who have been on Lupron) that I could have over a year of pain relief after I am finished with the 6 month treatment plan (I have 2 months left). So we'll see what happens.

Your doctor really does know what he/she is talking about...so I would suggest talking to them about the side affects. My doc has been amazing and has addressed all of my concerns with me....and I went to her with a lot of questions. If you doctor doesn't know how to answer them, it's time to move on.

Some women haven't had success with Lupron and pain relief. THis is usually if they have fibroids or adhesions...the lupron only shrinks down the endo itself.

I wish you luck, feel free to email me at alexisconrad@gmail.com if you have any questions or concerns. I have done A LOT of research on this drug, especially before I agreed to take it. I try to keep my Lupron opinions down to a dull roar on this sight because some women get very upset with my point of view.

Alexis.
