-- Dearest Jenny, After so many Lap's I have never had a Dr tell me they can do anything for the shoulder pain associated with the gas. All I have ever been offered for it is more pain killers! However, wrapping up in warm blankets and changing positions alot tended to move the gas some when it was in a spot causing severe discomfort, as well to start passing some, I would drink hot water or tea. Walking or moving however uncomfortable, helped me to move it out quicker or move the location of the gas "pocket". I liked to sit up as apposed to laying flat, for me it lessened the pain.Hope this helps Loretta
