Hello Everyone,

I have been reading many messages on this website & thought I would go ahed & see what some of you think about my situation. I do not know where to turn. I have been having chronic UTI's (or that is what I have advised I have been having all the years) since I was 19 years old. As I get older they get worse & I have had several doctors & ER rooms diagnose me with everything from a UTI to PID to Bacterial Vaginosis & they just give me antibiotics & within 2-4 weeks I am back at the doctor or in the ER Room. Well, about a year ago I started having more & more pelvic pain & they just kept giving me Flagyl & then I would get a UTI (or so they say) & they would give me an antiobiotic (I have had everything from Levequin to Bactrim to Avelox, etc.). Well then my pelvic pain starting getting worse & worse & the past few months I have chronic (its like a bloating/fullness feeling) stomach bloating. It is as if something is in my stomach & it will not come out. I just had an ultrasound & they found a (3mm(cm)---3 something) cyst but my OB/GYN does not think that is the cause of my problem. They did a Urine Culture & found nothing. They however did a Urinalysis & found blood in my urine & some other odd things or so they said. They did a pregnancy blood test & I am definitely not pregnant. I have been to an Infectious Disease Specialist & he tested me for Lupus & I do not have that. I have been to a Urologist & he has done several Catherizations along with a Cystoscopy & a Urethral Dilation (which hurt like hell) & within 2 weeks I was having a problem again. I have been having chronic fatigue that gets worse & worse as I get older (I can barely make it to work but I do & when I get home I can hardly clean my house---this just about drives me nuts because I am a clean freak). I am having severe stabbing like pain around my belly button that flares down to my vagina from time to time & then it sometimes flares to my sides. The past few days I have been having severe pain in the mid section of my back that has been flaring to the sides too. And, I also have chronic (pain that has not went away for the past 2 weeks) pressure & pain all around my mid section region. I have times where I get very dizzy & feel like I am going to pass out but I am not sure if that is related. But when I get these pains I also have horrible naseau & hot flashes too. The ER gave me heavy duty pain medicine but sometimes I take it (if the pain is bad enough) & the pain still does not go away. Also, (I know this sounds funny) but during my period I have horrible bouts of diarrhea, constipation & gas. Also, I have noticed that within the past year I started cramping, clotting real bad & having tender breasts before my period. Prior to that I had none of that at all. My periods have always been regular with no pain at all, no breast tenderness. Recently I have noticed that my periods start off very heavy & I start spotting real bad afterwards which I have never had before either. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant now for 2 years & I got pregnant once & lost the baby within 2 weeks & then the next year I actually got pregnant & was supposed to be 9 weeks along but ended up having a miscarriage at 6 weeks along & the doctor does not know what happened. I do know that when I was pregnant I had horrible cramping. This is weird too, when I ate (& this also happens now) while I was pregnant my cramps got so bad I did not want to eat at times (I thought that was really strange but did not mention it to anyone). My OB/GYN is sending me to a Urologist because he thinks I have Interstitial Cystitis but I do not think that is what I have. I have been looking on the internet & none of these symptoms I am having match with Interstitial Cystitis. I asked my OB/GYN what about Endometriosis & his response was "First of all if you had that you would not have been able to get pregnant in the first place. And, with Endometriosis you only have pain during your period. No, you do not have Endometriosis" Well, I am probably boring all of you by now.

Let me know what you think!!!! KayLee
