Re: 2nd Lap going in this Sunday SCARED!From: anonymous@obgyn.netThu Mar 30 09:18:12 2006
Hello Storm, I hope all went well. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I underwent my 2nd lap on Monday too. I was so scared. They found unexpected things. There was a tumor on my right ovary and a big endometrioma on my left ovary, which my doctor drained and took out. They also found that my uterus was inverted and one of my fallopian tubes is inverted as well, but he corrected as much as he could. He says that is a birth defect. I am surprised that during my first lap that wasn't discovered. The doctor who performed my first lap probably didn't even want to go there. He excised endometriosis he found, a suspicious area where he thought endo might grow. I just wanted my life back. I have Epstein Barr, plus the pains I was going through, it was just debilitating me. I knew something was wrong, other than endometriosis. I do hope I get some relief from this for some time. Storm, I hope you are feeling better. Wishing you pain free days and all the best. Let us know how you are doing. Sue
