My doctor did a D&C during my last lap. It is a proceedure where they dilate your cervix and essentially "scrape out" the endometrial tissue inside your uterus. There is no test, so there won't be any test results to wait for. My doctor did mine to remove the endometrial tissue because he was putting me on continuous progesterone immediately following surgery. I think it is fairly common. I would just ask her when you see her at your check up so that you understand how it factors into your treatment. Alyson
