Re: Lupron Questions

I am 27 and have been told Lupron is my only option right now. I can't
not take birth control due to blood clot issues. I have severe pain a
couple weeks a month and am petrified to try Lupron because of what I
have read on the side effects. I know it effects everyone differently
but my doctor did advise me this week, once you are injected with it
they can only give you some medicine to offset the side effects, other
than that it last for a month. I don't really want to have a month
worth of side effects and not be able to get rid of them until the shot
wears off. Sadly there are few options for people, I just don't want to
put my body through that and as soon as the shot is done you have to get
another, from what I have been told it is not a long term solution. Good
Luck!
