I Use A Peach Theory

When I explain Endo to people they usually ask why it can't be cured. I truely believe in the idea that if you get it all out it doesn't pogress. So I explain it this way. I tell people you know if you get a peach that has a bad spot in i? Well, you can cut the bad spot off the surface but it's still bad the deeper you get into it. People seem to understand that for some reason. Stupid huh? And then the adhesion part...no one seems to understand that so I reference silly putty and tell them the silly putty is attaching to my organs and pulling them together. I try to use simple analogies that even the 5 watt lightbulbs out there can understand. And I know it's not the uneducated people's fault...we just get overlooked because you can't see our disease. Anyhow, have a good night all.
