Re: Diagnosed without symptoms

I was not diagnosed that way, but many people believe that the occurrance of women with endometriosis may be much higher than anyone realizes because it does not always present symptoms or the symptoms are dismissed by the individual as being pms. My friend was recently diagnosed after she felt a mass in her pelvic area that turned out to be a very large endometrioma. She has two children as well. So, I guess it is worth investigating to rule it out. Alyson
