4 months after lap and pain increasing....From: Tanya (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Mar 3 03:36:59 2006
Hi, I had a lap in November...now four months later my pain is increasing. I'm also getting pains in places I didn't before my lap. I see my gyno end of March and will query with him, but I just don't understand why I'm still in pain after I hoped it would clear up after the lap. This was my second lap in 2-3 yrs. I have category 4-5 endo with severe adhesions. My bowel fused to my uterus and my left ovary folder, fused together, then to my pelvic wall. Plus other fun and exciting procedures :) I was told to get pregnant asap as my endo and adhesions will get far worse if I don't. I am trying my hardest to get pregnant, but this just isn't happening. Have only been trying since end of December...I know it's not long, but I am now worried my problems are getting worse cos of the pain. Stressed it will impact on getting pregnant. My periods were weird this time around...hard to explain, but they didn't feel normal...My periods didn't last as long as it normally do...more pain than normal etc. Does anyone still get pain months after their lap? Is it cos of internal healing or is it because it's getting worse? Any theories would be appreciated :) Hope everyone has had a pain free day :)
