Do you mean a 3cm cyst or a 3mm cyst? Anyhow, waiting on it is probably the best thing to do. I have a cyst the same size (3.5cm) at this time and my doctor advised the same thing. If they go in and surgically drain or remove the cyst you may have ovarian damage or scar tissue that may hurt your one ovary. Just a thought! The cyst in and of itself will most likely dissolve or burst. Yes, this is incredible pain, but it doesn't necessarily hurt the ovary. Good luck to you and I hope you also have good luck getting pregnant:)
