Hi Loretta. I woke up this morning and the pain was less than yesterday, but it is still there. Sometimes it gets sharp and will make it hard to walk. I tend to have to assume a stooping position when I walk to get relief and have to take small steps. Sitting can be painful and cause alot of pressure. And the bleeding is still very heavy, worse than normal. I just wish my period would be over. Anyway, I wanted to ask you...do you happen to know if getting a hysterectomy will stop periods completely? My husband works in the medical profession and said that you can get a hysterectomy without having your ovaries removed, so that you will still produce hormones and not have to be on HRT. My poor sister developed premature ovarian failure at age 21 which caused her to be infertile indefinitely, and she has to be on HRT and says it's hideous! I don't want to get a hyster if I have to be on HRT, but if I can keep my ovaries and avoid that, I will consider it an option. I guess I should probably discuss this with my doctor. Anyway, just wondering if you happened to know. Did you by chance have a hyster? Take care. Amy
