Hi, Heidi!! Welcome to the message boards! I know how you feel with the emotional ups and downs. I sat through a 20 minute discussion at my doctor's office less than a week ago about how my life was going to be lived from here on out and how badly the endo has attacked my body. Of course hearing that doesn't make me feel very hopeful and confident about my future.

I have seriously thought about going to talk with a counselor about my health just so that I can have that unbiased chat. If I talk with my family about it they want to throw in their own thoughts and opinions about what they think I should do and my husband's family has their own thoughts and my friends don't know what to say or when they say anything it's to change the subject because they DON'T know what to say.

It wouldn't hurt to speak with a counselor. It would make you feel better if anything to have someone to hear you out without bringing the rest of your life into it.
