This is good advice, and also very good for someone who is a veteran of the disease, especially in a case where there are times a woman has had her dr tell her she needs a hysterectomy b/c of irregular bleeding but the dr doesn't want to try and find a definitive cause for that bleeding to see if it's something simple to treat.

I also wish more drs would understand that the best treatment for endo to give a chance at years of relief is excision of the implants even though they won't be able to get them all. But getting as much of it out as possible gives a good chance for relief for years at a time.
