Rhonda,

Maybe seeing another neurologist will be helpful to you. Sometimes doctors get stumped, or are in a rut of giving out the same treatments. Maybe a new doctor can give you a different perspective, or insight, and maybe some new treatment options. Sorry I don't know much about migraines or their treatments. I wish you good luck. It may be beneficial to get copies of the tests that you have had and your medical record so that if you go to another doctor he/she can interpret your case better. I don't know, just a suggestion! I would definitely seek help from someone who will care to get to the bottom of your problem.

Head pain is something that definitely needs to be addressed and taken very seriously. You may have something else causing the pain. I just had a patient that had a horrible headache and high blood pressure. We thought it was from a medication that he was on, but it ended up to be a benign (non-cancerous) head tumor that did not show up on a CT scan. It took a doctor thinking outside of the box to do a spinal tap and diagnose the problem! With the proper medications and treatment he is doing great!! I'm not saying you don't have migraines or you have something else, all I'm saying is find a doctor who will listen and not give up on you. You deserve to get some answers! I hope you have many pain free days ahead, I feel for you!
