I guess you can ignore my last post now about constipation treatment!!;) It hasn't been a week yet since your lap, right? I'm thinking that you may be a little tired still and that's OK. I don't know if your doctor went "mucking around" in the areas of your pain, but they may feel better in a week or two. Give it some time. Also, if your doctor is resistant or blowing you off to finding a cause of your pain after you heal, you NEED to seek help from another doctor. Having a period, not on treatment after a lap, sounds horrible to begin with. It is not all in your head and IBS runs hand in hand with endo. IBS is the "I don't know what else you have" diagnosis of all time for us. I would give it some time then attack another answer. I wish you luck!!
