Before you go into surgery have your house nice and comphy and all the things you would want sitting next to wherever you will be resting. Do not overexert yourself. Doing more than you feel up to doing will prolong any pain that you will have. And to answer your other question, not a doc here but I have heard of women getting pregnant with 1 overy.
