It would seem that you are a likely candidate for a Laporoscopy. Not only as u are in significant pain, but ALSO that you MUM has Endo & is DIAGNOSED. U have a family history of this illness, it is NOT JUST in your head. By any chance was ur GYNO a man? i don't mean to sound aggressive, but many men do not understand or comprehend the level of pain relating to female reproductive organs let alone Endo. Is it possible for you to be prescribed an NSAID? it stands for Non Steroid Anti Inflamatory Drug? this can help you to cope in the meantime but I feel that you would benefit considerably from Investigative Surgey. I do not know if u are able to have this whilst on active duty, I understand that the onus is on the physically wounded. You must perservere, noone knows ur body like u. please see another Medic in ur division, is it possible that u may get a medical discharge? then u can have the surgery, find out what is going on & then if u want go back on duty. Heat on your back helps, and your tummy. Even though it hurts stretching your legs and physically 'putting them up the wall' can ease the pressure. I am 27 and have had 5 admissions to hospital for Laporoscopy/Hysteroscopy surgery for severs endometriosis, i was diagnosed at 23 and understand it is awfully painful and debititating illness. please let me know how you go, i always check in and am happy to talk via email. Be strong, you are a courageous woman who knows what chronic pain feels like, it willl not be like it is forever, take care and best wishes from Australia Sami x
