Lupron - Good side effects?

Hi,

I just had my first Lupron injection on Tuesday afternoon. My friend did it and he did a super job! I had no bruising, redness, or swelling. My arm felt like lead for a few hours and was sore until Friday but that's what an IM is all about!!

I was just wondering if anyone else has had the "reaction" that I'm having. As far as side effects go, it's about as good as one could wish for!

I feel better than I have felt in years! My head is clear. I'm cheerful, positive, and I've been laughing lots. I have more energy. I've been on a mission the past three days and I've mirco-cleaned my whole house (and enjoyed it). I'm on a purging mode, I've thrown out 4 huge garbage bags worth of stuff. (I should tell you that I'm a pack rat and I usually don't have much energy. Usually I can just barely get through my normal day and it's my housework that suffers and doesn't get done)

I even baked cookies today! Just for fun... I've been working opposite shifts to my husband so we haven't been having extra sex, but if we were on the same schedule we would be! I am still having my normal pain, but it's just not bothering me. I just feel so darn positive that even pain can't bring me down! I even called up my mother-in-law and invited her over to our house for a meal! Something I have never done in the 6 years I've know my husband...

My ob/gyn said that the worst comes two weeks after the shot. So is this just the calm before the storm?
