Dear Endo Friends... I hope everyone is doing well and that 2006 has brought you all sweet blessings. I stopped my Lupron injections in December, and started continuous Yasmin bcp's on January 8th. I'm starting to have some cramping, like I'm going to have my period. Nothing that I can't handle...Just annoying I think!! My boyfriend and I are not ready to have children, so this is the answer for right now. Anyway... 2006 hasn't been the best for me. On January 3rd an illegal immigrant slammed into my car while my boyfriend and I were on our way to visit his step-dad in the hospital. Totaled my car..and sent us to Physical Therapy. We just had our follow up with the dr and we have 3 more weeks of PT then another follow up. I had some lower abdominal pains, where my seatbelt was... and I went and saw my ob/gyn. He said that everything seems to be ok, after an ultrasound and a pelvic exam. Mostly just bruising. I finally got a new car this past Friday... which is a good thing.. but 6 more years of payments.. when I was almost done with the payments on my old car. Then on the 11th.. my boyfriend's Step-dad died of pancreatic and liver cancer. It was very hard on him, since his mom died of Liver Cancer back in 2002. Neither of them were drinkers, and both very healthy before their onset of the cancer. *Sigh*.. I just wanted to vent a little and touch base with the site again. Like I said to begin with, I hope 2006 is wonderful for everyone.. and I hope the rest of 2006 gets better than the beginning has been for me. Take care, Kara
