Hi All, I was diagnosed with endo in 1999 and have had 3 laps. Been somewhat controlling it with BCP since, even though I can feel adhesions again. (last lap 2002, am feeling the need for another) Last summer I had what I thought was food poisoning, my GI Dr suspected colitis, luckily it was not. I was told that I "probably had IBS or spastic colon. Just don't think about it" (these are the Dr's exact words and no, I have not gone back!) My gut instinct is that this all is connected to endo. Bouts of diarrhea, then constipation, pain around my colon and lower abdominal area after eating. (pain also radiates to my lower back, similiar sensation as menstrual cramps.) Often waking up at night with pain-I get little relief from OTC pain meds and prefer not to take anything stronger. At this point, I am in some level pain everyday, although not constant. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Lisa
