I did feel better after my laproscopy and my drinking went back to pretty much being on a social basis. The pain is coming back again, but not nearly as bad as before. I think before I just couldn't cope sometimes and for some reason I went straight for the liquor cabinet when I got home. Whether it was my own personal pitty party...rebelion against what I was feeling...numbing tactic...I don't know, but I understand that gravitation.
