Toni- The medicine definately won't give you diabetes, I just hadn't ever heard of someone being given that medication to regulate their period. Then again I am not trying to have a baby, so there's that. I'm sure the doctor would have told you if your blood work showed that you have diabetes. I think it is a good idea to check your tubes, that will be one less factor to worry about. Check your e-mail, I responded back about the acupuncture there. Alyson
