Stages of endometriosis is determined by the sizes and amount of endometriosis found. Again, some women with advanced stages have had no pain, and some with minimal disease are incapacitated by pain. Stage I - Minimal, (1cm - 5cm) Stage II - Mild, (6cm - 15cm) Stage III - Moderate, (16cm - 40cm) Stage IV - Severe, (40+ cm)
