Re: How do they grade the stages of endo anyway? From: Tara (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Jan 18 21:21:30 2006
Stage 4 is severe disease, but.....I'd like to share with you some hope. My Mom had beyond stage 4 disease if there is such a thing. Her left ovary was the size of a grapefruit, (missed by ultrasounds and other diagnostic testing). She had endo wrapped around her coccyx so bad that the scar tissue pulled the bones to one side. She had it on all of her abdominal organs and fallopian tubes etc. She did nothing to try to get pregnant and here I am writing you. If it was meant to happen it will. Also, this disease is genetic. I'm suffering with the disease and will most likely pass it on to my children, just keep that in mind. As for a website on staging, try a google search. There are many out there. Sorry, I can't come up with a specific one for you. Good luck with clomid and fertility drugs if that's the path you choose. Sometimes a little break from "trying" works too!! :)
