DEAR LAURA, I've had the lupron 3 times now and for me it does help alittle, but once off it starts right back up again.I don't know about the cancer thing my mother also has had that,I just know that other trearments are steroids which I personally believe got me here in the first place. When I was young I had alot of health problems and was treated frequently with corosteroids(prednisone)I believe that this contributed to the endo for I have always had severe pain since starting mensus and my one live birth was very difficult.I do suggest to you to find a female Dr. if you can. After my surgery I went to my doc. complaining of worse symptoms then before,HE SUGGESTED A SHRINK!!!!!!Not to say they are bad but I have felt more supported emotionally by my female dr. Keep your chin up,Shell
