I can attest that this disease does indeed cause depression. My doc has put me on Prozac 10mg 3 weeks on and 1 week off. It has helped me tremendously. I know some may "joke" about being on prozac but it isn't strickly for just depression, in the manner that I am taking it, it helps relieve cramps and severe PMS w/ physical symptoms. So, give it a try.. it has changed my life and the depression is no longer an issue for me because I feel so much better w/ the disease. You can look up prozac info and see that it is given to women with period pain/ endo. good luck, steph
