I think so many of us struggle with depression in dealing with this disease. It is really hard not to when you are in pain all the time...it wears your body down and in turn wears your mind down. You don't sleep well, probably don't eat well. I went through a period of several months where I came home laid down on the couch and started drinking. I am so not a drinker, but it was all I could do to cope at the time. I cried for days, cried at my desk at work, had a complete breakdown with my husband.
